The Brisbane Heat match vs Melbourne Stars was supposed to be a mismatch between the league leaders and the 7th place side. In the end, it was a mismatch but not the kind that many had predicted. The Heat were too much for the visitors to handle.

Batting first, Brisbane Heat scored 186 of their allotted 20 overs, riding on the back of a 37 ball 71 from the imperious AB de Villiers. In response, Melbourne Stars folded for a paltry 115 to lose the match by 71 runs.
This bought an end to Heats losing streak while extending Stars’ own losing streak. The visitors were still in the match when Nick Larkin and Nic Maddinson were at the crease with the scorecard reading 70/4. However, the match effectively ended when Maddinson holed out a catch to Matt Renshaw in the 11th over.
The fans were naturally elated at the dismissal. However, there was one particular fan who seemed a little more excited than the rest. Fortunately, unfortunately, her celebrations have been caught for everyone to see for all eternity.
