Valorant is Riot's Free to pay, First-person shooter announced by the codename "Project A" in October 2019. Valorant is a tactical shooter, who took inspiration from other FPS games such as CS: GO, overwatch, etc., and came up with their own unique playstyle. Since the release of Valorant Beta in April 2020, it has gained immense popularity. And since its official release in June 2020, it secures an average of 14 million active players monthly and an average of 109,732 viewers on twitch.

Valorant Breakdown:

Valorant is a tactical shooter, where two teams of 5 drop into a map. Where one team is playing the role of defenders and the other played the role of attackers. The attacking team tries to plant the spike on a bomb site on the map and the role of the defending team is to stop them from planting or defusing the spike before it explodes. If the attacking team eliminates the opponents before the given time, or they plan the spike and it explodes they get a point. And if the defenders stop the spike from being planted or defuse it before it explodes they get a point. After 12 rounds the roles switch. And whichever team gets 13 points first wins. Valorant currently has 18 playable agents, a total of 7 maps, and 5 game modes.
